About Us

Who Are We?

Goals - Problem Solving at a National Level

Goals - Problem Solving at a National Level

We are a coalition of patients, care-givers, medical professionals and campaigners from wildly different backgrounds that are seeking to address systemic problems within the mental health care provision of the UK.

Goals - Problem Solving at a National Level

The UK’s mental health care provision is disjointed, difficult to access, hugely expensive, overly generalized and frequently abusive towards those it should be helping.

We are offering solid, pragmatic ideas and practical solutions to transform the UK’s mental health care. So much of the discourse around mental health care leads to ‘kicking the can down the road’ through running endless enquiries and surveys both within the NHS and the governing politicians. We are striving to cut through such rhetoric and push for action.

You can find our current list of ideas and solutions here.

Individual Mental Health Crises

Whilst you will see illustrative examples of individuals’ health crises on our website and social media accounts, we are not seeking to champion the issues of these individuals.

As heart-rending and shocking as they often are, we must remain focused on changing the whole mental health care system rather than challenging specific instances of failure and abuse.

If we do not do this then the necessary, national change will not be realized. Those in power will pay-away the individual problems and do little or nothing to address the root causes.
